ICT and E-learning
The Post-16 Sector
The post-16 education sector faces major and continual change in responding
to the demands of society to develop the broad skills of the country’s
workforce. Management teams within Colleges have to drive their own organisational
change whilst continuing to run ‘lean’ operations and yet
still achieve continual quality improvement.
ICT and e-learning
The importance of technology in driving and enabling change in teaching
and learning to allow flexibility, improved access and quality, and more
cost effective delivery is clear – the challenges in delivering
this level of service and operation are also clear. The picture is the
same for the administrative and management information side – and
the convergence of these builds further layers of complexity.
HHES and Aries
HHES work with colleges across the country to help address these challenges
– to objectively review existing business practices and technologies,
to define and specify real solutions, and to manage the implementation
of change.
Our ability to call on other truly independent and objectives partners within the Aries consortium strengthens the range and breadth of solutions we can offer to colleges, bringing a broader set of skills and knowledge to enable colleges to deliver faster and better informed change.
